High strength low alloy (HSLA) steel is a kind of new material with the excelle nttoughness and strength, and its total alloying elements is less than3.5%. Because theHSLA steel has good strength and toughness, small density, the high yield point, thehigh collisional absorption energy, high formability, which satisfies the require mentsthat the engineering needs, the HSLA steel is used in oil and gas industry,shipbuilding, b ridges, especially in the automotive industry widely. However, HSLAsteel would exhibit the different property in different work environment.In this paper, as the research object of circular HSLA steel plate, considering theeffect of the mechanical load and temperature field. At first, based on the von Karmanequation and classical theory of thin plate, considering geometric nonlinearity, thecircular HSLA steel plate’s motion control differential equations are established byusing the principle of minimum potential energy or Hamilton principle. Secondly,based on the kirchhoff hypothesis of plate and the first-order shear deformation theory,the circular HSLA steel plate’s motion control differential equations can be rewrittenfor displacement. In the end, by using the Newmark method, finite difference method,the numerical mathematics methods and iterative method, the whole problem gets thenumerical solution. Through using the above method, studied the dynamic response ofthe circular HSLA steel plate under the thermomechanical coupling, thethermoviscoelastic behavior in a circular HSLA steel plate, the dynamic problem of arotating circular HSLA steel plate with variable thickness, the themoelastic dynamicproblem of a circular HSLA steel plate under the impact load. Through specificexamples, it analysis and discusses the boundary conditions of the circular HSLAsteel plate, external environment, its geomet rical parameters and external load orothers on the nonlinear dynamic response of circular HSLA steel plate.This paper will enrich and develop the new materials and nonlinear dynamicmechanics, thermomechanical coupling theory. It will also provide the ce rtain theoryreference for optimal design, safety evaluation and experimental research of HSLAsteel material, which has good engineering practical significance.
