In the middle and late period of the19th century, the development of science and technology displayed new characteristics. The integration of science and technology tends to be more interactive, and the connection between science and technology becomes closer, and so does the connection between technology and society. Science, technology and society, the three interacting with one another, have formed into a big system. In addition, after the low tide of the Second Wave, Feminist Movement was refreshed by thought trends, such as Post-modernism, Post-colonialism, and ecofeminism. With such a social and academic background, Haraway brought forward her own technical science of feminism.Based on the reading of Haraway’s works, and the combing of relative literatures at home and abroad, this article discusses the social and academic background, the theory origin, the connotation of the establishment of Haraway’s technical science of feminism. And her thought is evaluated here.The author starts with the new characteristics of the development of modern science and technology, and the current difficulties facing feminism, to sketch out the social reality and academic background of the emerging of Haraway’s technical science of feminism.Based on this, by reading of Haraway’s famous works, the author combs and refines the technical science of feminism carefully, discusses the subject of technical science-the modest witness, the within-burst state of technical science and the objectivity of technical science-context, how to participate in technical science, to makes the connotation relatively clear. Finally the author tries to give an overall evaluation on Havaway’s technical science of feminism, clarifies Haraway’s contribution of technical science of feminism, and points out the limitations of Haraway’s thought.
