According to the previous research, the diameter of atomized particle of viscous oil is above several tens μm. To the particles of which diameter is less than5μm, the efficiency of ordinary once or twice atomization is not high because of higher energy consumption. This paper does experimental research and simulation on the atomization of larger particles through the second atomization which using the residual energy of oil mist particles. This thesis includes three parts:(1) Through literature review, this paper studies the technology of impinging stream and the atomization theory of viscous liquid, preparing for the experimental research and simulation;(2) According to the result of theoretical study, author designs and builds the experimental stations, does experimental research on oil mist particles in opposite impact and vertical impact, then observes the effects of the diameter of nozzle throat, the oil mist pressure, impinging distance and impact angle on the variation of the diameter of oil mist particle;(3)On the conclusion of theory and experimental study, author establishes the simulation model and does the simulation. Then article analyzes the shape of impacting region and regional pressure through the pressure contours of impact apparatus. In the experiment, author tests the effect of atomization by using the own-produced nozzles. Under the condition of different nozzle diameter, oil mist pressure and impinging distance, this article does orthogonal experiment in opposite impact and vertical impact respectively. Through analyzing a large amount of experimental data, article concludes the effect of the factors on the oil mist particles impact breakage. Through the simulation, this article observes the pressure contours of oil mist pressure and different impact distance.
