Multi-beam transmitter is an important component of Multi-beam bathymeter system, atthe same time it is also the unit which has the largest electric energy consumption in thesystem. According to the system requirement, in order to realize the wide covering of fan, thetransmitter should be formed transmit beams with a plurality of directivity, and the sonartransmission system with high resolution usually has high working frequency, high-powertransmission is also needed, these are key issues that are needed to be solved. In the paper, themain task is design of Multi-channel and Multi-beam transmitter, including of circuit designof phase-control signal formulation and power amplification.According to the beam-forming theory, the paper designs a phase-control signalformulation circuit based on FPGA(Field Programmable Gate Array), The system adopts thetechnology of digital phase-control delay transmission, it can obtain a higher resolution, anduses Hardware Description Language to design the relative program, FPGA could output asine-wave-enveloped CW pulse, offering a±33°transmitting range for the12transmitter.In order to realize the higher-power transmission of signal in the high frequency range,this paper carried on a key research on the method of improving the frequency characteristicin the amplifier circuit, and designs the power amplification circuit based on B-class push-pullamplifier that used transistor, and elaborately select the components, reasonably set theparameters in the circuit. At the sake of power amplifier working stably and normally, variouskinds of protection circuits are also be designed for it, and solved the most important problemof heat better.After the test in the lab, the design of the circuit are satisfied to the specifications, andvalidate correctness of the design.
