With the development of technology, the airborne platform is more and more important and popular because of broad application prospects, In the supersonic flight, a dense mist layer was resulted by shock field and influenced the normal use of airborne communication equipment.The paper, based on the theory of Mie scattering and Rayleigh scattering, the scattering properties of water molecules and water mist particles was calculated by theory. Laser transmittance of mist, which the wavelength was532nm,650nm,780nm,830nm,860nm,980nm,1064nm and1550nm, was calculated by the Lambert-Beer’s law in the condition of meet the single scattering theory. A experimental apparatus was designed to measure near-field scattering characteristics of mist layer, which used fog particle generating device to simulate the near-field mist layer. It was used to acquire and analyze the scattering intensity and transmittance of mist, which laser wavelength was532nm,650nm and980nm, and resulted the basic data to solve the near-field dense mist layer influenced airborne communication equipment.
