Marine fresh water from seawater desalination device, when the water making system isput into operation, the water level controller can automatically control putting into the seawater evaporator, and the water level stable in a given range, will not cause the high and lowwater level, to produce a corresponding running salt and drying phenomenon.Water level controlling has many kinds of structures, such as water level regulator adoptsnozzle flapper type structure, but this way exists imbalance in the air pressure, the nozzle iseasy to block, with external water, low degree of automation shortcomings so it is necessaryto adopt a new regulation system.This paper adopts the electric water level regulator, the new system is mainly composedof magnetostrictive liquid level sensor, PLC and software system, electric control valve. Theliquid level sensor of water level signals are transmitted to the PLC, the PLC software systemdetermines the height of the water level, and then the electrical signal to be transmitted to theelectric adjusting valve actuating mechanism, controls the positive rotation and reverserotation, then decides to regulating valve the valve opening, has reached the purpose ofcontinuous control of the water level.In this paper, first of all we need to design the experiments required parts, paint drawingsand processing, improve the electric type water level regulator system, then build the testbench experiment. Through the cold water level fluctuation experiment, the high and lowwater level perturbation experiments, running experiments, this paper tests electric water levelregulator performance index.
