With the development of drilling technology, problems about old-fashioned mechanicalrig is becoming more and more serious,for instance,irregular load fluctuation in drillingprocess、form a larger impact load on the drive system and diesel engine act. Due to theexistence of this impact load, mechanical drill of diesel engine selection was greatly restricted,it also cause the drill with high energy consumption, poor economic operation in theoperation process. Because of its large powerful energy storage effect, and no pollution to theenvironment, the technology of flywheel storage have been widely used in recent years, it isespecially suitable for periodic energy storage and power amplification. Therefore, this paperadopts a new type of energy storage technology-the flywheel storage, it can stored up theexcess energy through the flywheel energy storage device when diesel engine at low loadoperation state, by this time, the flywheel is in accelerated storage process; when a largerimpact load is detected in the system, the stored energy will be released out, throughadjustable wind motor and diesel engines drive the load together, to stabilize the loading rateof engine, and make sure that the engine in the load change can smooth running, in this state,the flywheel is in the deceleration discharge mode.This project is based on the requirements of diesel engine rig mechanical load systemcontrol proposed by Zhongyuan Oilfield, and it is from the key scientific and technologicalinnovation project of Shaanxi province. The paper mainly made a specific study of themotor-driven and power generation program of peaking motor in peaking system. Throughconsulting a large number of domestic and foreign literatures, analyse the structure and basicprinciple about flywheel energy storage system, on that basis, acceleration storage, keepingof energy and reduction discharge the three manner of working about flywheel peaking motorwere introduced respectively in detail. Put forward the idea of adopting the DSP2000seriesof TMS320LF2407A as the core chip, with an emphasis on the controller’s hardware andsystem software detailed design, design a diesel engine rig machinery peaking system basedon flywheel energy storage systems. Combine with the Simulink simulation in MATLAB,build up the mathematical model of flywheel motor and the simulation model of charge anddischarge of the flywheel energy storage system. Based on the above,the diesel rig mechanical peaking system is simulated, it can be concluded from the text that the flywheelenergy storage based on the mechanical load system can stable mechanical rig loadfluctuations effectively, minimize the impact load on the engine in the process of down andup, that is to say, the feasibility of power generation, electric power conversion technology isabsolutely correct, from the energy efficiency point of view, the diesel rig mechanicalpeaking system designed can at least save20%of electricity.
