Zhulin’ao Bridge is the important part of the project of Daxing(It lies in the boundary ofHunan and Guizhou province) to Sinan section belonged to Hangzhou to Ruili NationalHighway, and it is used as a research object in this paper. Based on the analysis ofmorphological characteristics, structural feature and deformation characteristic, the stability ofthe slope are calculated by limiting equilibrium method. At the same time, the landslide’sdeformation and failure mechanism is simulation analyzed and the safety factor of three kindsof working condition are calculated by using the popular ways of finite element strengthsubtraction. It provides a new way for the similar projects in the region of stability analysisafter compared with results of limit equilibrium method and finite element strengthsubtraction. Finally, according to the characteristics of the landslide, the type of compositereinforcement with anti-slide pile and anchor cable frame is adopted and its reinforcementeffect is studied. Based on the above analysis, the following conclusion could besummarized:(1) Zhulin’ao Bridge Slope is a typical engineering landslide with bedrock layer, and theresults calculated by limit equilibrium method are suggested that: the stability coefficient ofslope can’t meet the Highway slope fortification standards and must to take necessaryprotective treatment.(2) The stability of slope has been analyzed by strength reduction FEM in this paper,and the results are consistent with the values calculated by limit equilibrium method. Basis forthe results, it provides reference for slope stability calculation with numerical method.(3) According to the characteristics of landslide’s deformation and failure analysis, thetype of composite reinforcement with anti-slide pile and anchor cable frame could be adopted.And the surface observation point for long-term monitoring would be set up to prevent furtherdeformation.
