Our country is rich in coal resources, and coal bed methane resources are extremely rich,Coal bed methane development and utilization has ambitious business prospects. In the past,for the sake of safety, we used it to research as geological disasters and mining conditions.Nowadays, with the development of science and technology, taking advantage of this richCoal bed methane and clean energy has been a real possibility.Dafosi is located in southern Binchang mine, whose Mainland layer structure, coalcharacteristics, gas content and other geological conditions has already been identified, whichprovided abundant fundamental data for exploration. This study focus on the structure,stratigraphy, coal bed, hydrogeological condition, gas production condition and preservationcondition of the Dafosi district, then find that the coal beds of Dafosi district mine are nativeand fragmentation coal, and moderate-poor type closure, well coal reservoir permeability,and in good gas production condition. We compared the influence factors of quantity of CBMresource, and select reasonable approach to calculate the current gas content of Dafosi district.The total CBM resources is39.77×108m3, which is low abundant, medium-sized CBMfields. We collected the existing factors data and analyzed, then studied on admissibilityresearch of CMB. In the last, we forecast the CBM content is considerable, and ultimatelydetermine that the early target region of CBM exploration is eastern region of that area.
