To solve the scaling problem in the multipurpose use and development of seawater, propose to remove the calcium ion and preprocess seawater with the carbon dioxide fromthe flue gas, decrease the salinity and get the by-product. achieve the purposes ofcomprehensive decalcification and waste reprocessing. The effects of pH, salinity, temperature, solubility of carbon dioxide and removal rate ofcalcium and magnesium have been investigated in the experiment, precipitation also havebeen studied. The results show that the optimal technological condition is pH8.0, and thetemperature below30℃, the salinity35‰,the calcium removal rate is more than90%and magnesium removal rate is0, and the Precipitation is the only CaCO3H2O. theremoval rate of calcium and magnesium will rise with the pH,temperature and salinity. Thesolubility of CO2will rise with pH but fall with temperature and salinity. At last, theconcentration of CO2for have been researched in the continuously tridimensionalmass-transfer parallel flow trays under different pH, which is8.0、8.3、8.7、9.0、9.5.andthe technological conditions of pH and salinity have been studied with semi-industrial test, the result of the test is similar to experiment, and the concentration of CO2、H2CO3、CO32-have been tested in different time,as the same time, the equilibrium constant also beencorrected in the constant pH system.
