With the rural economic development and the continuous improvement of the living standards of farmers, discharge of the rural living garbage is increasing year by year in our country, due to the rural environmental management foundation is weak, the residents’ environmental protection consciousness is not high, the garbage discarded phenomenon is serious, not only seriously affect the rural regional air quality and the environment beautiful, but also a large number of pollutants in the waste via surface runoff into the ground or into the water, significantly impact surrounding surface environment in rural areas. Rural solid waste becomes the urgency of addressing the problem in the rural environment.Currently, the scientific and technological support for rural garbage pollution prevention is still very weak. First, the breadth and depth of the research is not enough. Second, we has not yet achieved the commercialization of research results. But in recent years the emergence of GIS technology and applications in the field of solid waste management for realization of optimization technology of rural domestic refuse collection points are possible. Stationing technology research to establish the rural garbage collection point, considering the air pollution, noise pollution, water pollution, such environmental factors as the impact on the surrounding residents, reasonably set the rubbish piled up in the collection point, simple and feasible method of collecting points system, put forward to change the surrounding environment for the present situation of the "dirty, disorderly and poor" provide strongly technical support.For wide scope of China’s rural areas, large difference of life garbage output,this article was based on research, analysis and the typical regional rural garbage generated strength, as well as regional differences on Guangdong, Heilongjiang and Sichuan rural waste generation and collection status quo, energy-structure, income and other factors affected the relationship between waste production and composition, GIS-based database constructed rural household garbage collection and distribution mode. And rural population, the amount of waste generated, water, farmland, water sources and road conditions, a variety of factors to consider into the network database according to the characteristics of rural areas, the establishment of the best economy of rural life garbage removal route optimization model to characterize the shortest path; Finally using Arcgis software selected the garbage collection optimal point methods, the rural household garbage collection and distribution to optimize the technology and methods for management and garbage collection point set up in rural areas to provide effective support.Typical areas of rural garbage collection point optimization results showed that the northern areas of refuse collection points should be set up in villages open areas; Southern economically developed rural areas could be combined with local waste output terrain conditions may be appropriate to increase the number of rural life garbage collection point to meet large number of rural household waste; And because the economy was not developed in western rural areas, and the amount of garbage generated low should be calculated by the program of the optimal point as far as possible, while save finances, should have the effect.
