Address is a structural description about natural or human geographic entity location of particular spatial location, which provides spatial orientation of human, structures and other spatial objects. Based on the address information, the standard address database is established, so that the relationship between standard address and the others could be found in the unified geographic reference frames, and the union of spatial information and non-spatial information is achieved which maintained the instant sharing of the address data. Based on the requirement of Chinese address describing and address matching service, the key technical problems of forming the standard address database are discussed in aspects of address model establishment, address coding and standard address organization, and the protocol system is built in this paper. Main research results are as follows.(1) Self-adapting address model constructionBy analyzing the national and industrial standard classification, this article improves the address element classification. Using statistical methods of terms frequency description, the characteristics database of geographic features is built. Based on the association rules and limited automatic mechanism, the adaptive address models established, so that the problem of the standardized expression is solved.(2)Dual address coding schemeBased on the diversity and uniqueness of the address, and the compound evolution characteristics of "Time, Space, Name", dual coding scheme is put forward, which contains the spatial and attributes data. The uniqueness of spatial address coding is beneficial to realize the address data sharing cross different operating systems and different fields. The attributes coding is suit for Chinese address diversity, which could reach a fine query efficiency. This paper makes some qualitative and quantitative exercises of address coding in Changzhou.(3)Prototype system developmentThis paper establishes a standard address model, which is based on the address hierarchical relation and data consistency. This system accomplishs the relevancy of historical address data and present data, using spatial encoding on the basis of analyzing the address life cycle and utility. In addition, the address system accomplishes precise query and fuzzy query using combining address feature query. Finally, the prototype system is developed, which contains address acquire module, address query module, address update module, address match module and etc.
