Jinghai Bay is located at the junction of Rongcheng and Wendeng City. Recentyears, with human activities developed in Jinghai Bay, the sediment dynamicenvironment of Jinghai Bay has changed, in this context, the research on the sedimentdynamic environment of Jinghai Bay has important theoretical and practicalsignificance.Based on the measured data, tidal type of Jinghai Bay is a regular semidiurnaltide. Tide current is rules the tidal.The movement type of Tide current iscounter-clockwise and turn left. Residual current of vary from1.4cm/s to5.1cm/s.Wind wave dominants the Wave,The regular wave direction are S、SSW,while thestrong wave direction are SSE、SW.The tidal current and wave field of Jinghai Bay are Simulated with theprofessional numerical simulation software, the results show that: tidal currentvelocity of Jinghai Bay vary from20cm/s to40cm/s. In the eastern narrowwaterway of Changhuikou, tidal current velocity up to120cm/s. Significant waveheight vary from0.12m to3.2m.Calculated with the measured data, at the west side of Jinghai Bay, the Sedimentdischarge per unit width vary from2449kg/m~7154.1kg/m, the derection toward toJinghai Bay; Use the formula of CERC, the coastal sediment transport of Jinghai Bayvary from6.83×10~4m~3to34.51×10~4m~3, the derection is from west to east. In theJinghai Bay, the coastal sediment transport is smaller, about7×10~4m~3.Surface sediments of the Jinghai Bay are sand silt,silt and mud. Median diameter,averageparticle size and sorting coefficient are smaller. In the Pejrup triangle, JinghaiBay domains the DⅢ、CⅢ、DⅣ'CⅣ, from northwest to southeast,hydrodynamicforce becomes smaller and so as the wave shadow of the Zhangjiabu harborAccording to the measured water depth data and numerical simulation of theerosion and deposition environment, the Jinghai Bay mainly shows a state of micro-siltation, the volume of siltation is between2cm~4cm. The erosion areamainly appears at the eastern side of the ChangHui Mouth,the head of the breakwaterof ZhangJiaBu Port and JingHai Cape, the volume of erosion is between2cm~4cm.JingHai Bay Sea Planning,as one kind of human activities, has some impact onthe sediment dynamic environment,mainly causing the the trend of decrease in tidalvelocity and change in tidal direction,besides,the amount of tidal water decreasesabout22%and a wider range of wave shadow zone comes into being,the amount ofyears siltation increases overall and the volume of erosion around the corner ofnew-built ZhangJiaBu Port and HaoDangjia Port increases.
