Design And Implementation Of Gis Tiles Down-Loading And Stitching

With the high pace of development of network technology which changed the way people live and work to a great extent, a myriad of fields have developed new branch concentrating more on the application of network techniques. As one of those fields, GIS (Geographic information system) branches WebGIS field which has contributed to the achievement of network GIS applications such as online maps. As the basic data, map source plays an important role in the con-struction of WebGIS application, and a variety of different sources can support the work of people greatly as more selectable reference. Now there are a lot of e-commerce map which provide ideal sources of map data, but these applications are web-based which means even if they provides a convenient service, it is still difficult to meet specific needs.This application is based on the requirements mentioned above, proposed under the MFC framework technology to develop a desktop application which can obtain map data according to a specific coordinate range, and process data based on user’s specification.This article focuses on the detailed design and implementation process of the downloading and stitching of GIS tiles based on MFC framework. The paper is divided into seven sections including introduction, background techniques, re-quirement analysis, software design, implementation, testing and conclusion. In-troduction section give a brief representation about development background and personal work; second section describes the key technologies and methods in-volved in program; system analysis section describes the functional and non-functional requirements of the application software; software design part in-troduces programming module divided by functional analysis as well as their re-spective detailed design; implementation section describes the implementation of overall framework and each functional modules; testing section carries out de-tailed tests for each function achieved by application; the last section draw a con-clusion and prospect about the outcome of the application development, and de-scribes the key emphasis of future work.
