In recent years, dissipative control is always a hot research area in controltheory, and strict dissipative is playing a very significant role in the system analysisand design. Dissipativity is widely applied in researches of system stability, robustcontrol and nonlinear control. Singular neutral time-delay system is more widely todescribe physical system. And it is a kind of dynamical systems of more general andhas widely applied background.This paper focuses on the problems of dissipative control for singular neutraltime-delay system and the results will be summarized as follows:(1) The research background of the problem discussed in this paper isintroduced. Firstly, research background of singular neutral system and impulsetime-delay is introduced; Secondly, a brief introduction of the current situation anddevelopment prospects of the dissipative study is given; Finally, the main work issummarized.(2)The problems for singular neutral time-delay system are discussed. Firstly,the neutral type singular system with time delay is transferred into a neutral typesystem with the constraint condition. The sufficient conditions for the singularneutral time-delay to be strictly dissipative are given. And then the integrative designmethod of state feedback controller and time-delay state feedback controller arepresented, such that the closed-loop systems are dissipative. At last the feasibility ofthe method is proved by numerical examples.(3) We studied the dissipative control problems of the impulsive neutral typesingular system with time-delays. Employing of the theory of Lyapunov stability,sufficient conditions for singular impulsive neutral time-delay system to bedissipative are given in the impulse-free points according to linear matrix inequality.By using the method of inequality scale, the sufficient conditions for the impulsiveneutral time-delay singular system to be strictly dissipative are established in theimpulse points. Finally, for impulsive neutral time-delay singular system we design state feedback controller and time-delay state feedback controller respectively, andthe controllers make the closed-loop systems to be dissipative.(4)Summary of the major work is made.
