The Study Of Two Vendors Newsboy Multidimensional Game Substitutable Products Inventory Model

Newsboy problem is always the hot topic in inventory management. Theclassical newsboy problem is to find a product order quantity that maximizingexpected total profit or minimizing expected total expense in a single cycle whilethe demand is random. As the inventory control of alternative products has becomea hot research in supply chain inventory management. In this paper, from the viewof game following two extensions alternative newsboy problem:In the third chapter, firstly we establish two vendors selling the same Newsboysubstitutable products inventory model，and obtained the maximum profit optimalorder quantity model, numerical examples illustrate the solution procedure,performed a sensitivity analysis on the parameters.In the fourth chapter，we study the inventory model of two vendors sales bothnewsboy multidimensional game substitutable products. Firstly, we give theconditions two vendors multidimensional game alternative products satisfy；Secondly，according to the actual inventory condition, we divide the sample spaceof random variables into sixteen cases, then derive the profit of each case, andobtain the total profit; Finally, the numerical examples and sensitivity analyses areprovided.
