The Research On The Situation And Improvement Of China’s Marine Soft Power

The marine soft power is one kind of abilities and influences of a country whichcan achieve and maintain marine rights and interests by non-coercive ways relying ontheir own marine culture, marine development model, ocean diplomacy and softpower resources in the domestic and international marine affairs. This influence ismainly manifested in the attractiveness of marine culture, the assimilatory power ofmarine development model and the creation of the marine diplomacy. Modern worldhistory experience has shown that the rise of great powers, the prosperity of the nationand the country’s prosperity are closely related to the ocean.China has put forward thestrategic goals of building marine power in the international environment which isthemed with peace and development. The building of marine power is not just thedevelopment and upgrading of marine economy and ocean military hard power. At thesame time, we should also pay more attention to the construction and upgrading ofmarine culture, marine systems, marine diplomatic and marine soft power. Stage toenhance the marine soft power in China has an important strategic value.
