The core of mining hydrogeologic work is forecasting mine section. This paper usesnumerical simulation methods to predicte Shanxi coal mine discharge Hexi, so as toprovide basis for preventing water area.Hexi coal mine in shanxi liulin, located in luliang,which located in the middle ofHedong coal, it belongs Liulin spring or karst water system in hydro geological unit. Forsingle inclined structure, compartmentalized southwest low, formation southeast high coalformation groundwater runoff from east to west. By shallow groundwater along the aquiferdeep movement, runoff strength to more and more small, weak belt along the stratadrainage. With the coal mining operations on and other industrial water, mine geology andhydrogeology conditions and more and more complex.In this paper, we establish the geological model which is based on the conceptualmodels, and further establish numerical simulation model by Visual MODFLOWsoftware.The model is identified and tested by the pumping test data during thehydro-geological investigation. The simulated water level observation hole and measuredvalues are in good by model identification verification, therefore, we can use this model forsettlement prediction. Prediction results as follows:4#coal dewatering time of thelimestone is4days, dewatering discharge to3606.55m3/d;8#coal group ordovician aquiferdrainage of the peak time of4days, sparse reduced water yield for the3563.72m3/d.According to forecast results and mine discharge situation, we propose surface watercontrol measures and underground water control measures, In connection with the actualsituation of production for the mine, we should develop and implement long-term watercontrol plan.
