Mine discharge is the inflow water of unit time flowing into mines during the process of mine production and mine construction. It is a key indicator to determine the complexity of the hydrogeological conditions of deposit, relating to mine production conditions and costs. The mine design department make the mining plan and drainage method according to the water inflow of coal mine. The project is based on the FengYu coal mine. Through researching the hydrogeological condition of study area, we built the hydrogeological conceptual model and established the mathematical model. By using ModFlow software, we built the numerical simulation models of Shuo Nan coal mine and predicted the water inflow of coal mine. The main achievements include the following:(1)In this paper, we have studied the current research of this field and evaluated the varies methods of water inflow prediction. Specially, we got the analysis which is concerned about water inflow of mine in forecasting and the problem in this field.(2)In this project, we got the conceptual model of the study area through researching the hydrogeological conditions of the coal mine, generalizing boundary of the study area and researching the characteristics of the surface and underground water. Finally, we established the underground water mathematics models of the study area.(3)In this paper, Visual ModFlow software is used to establish the numerical simulation model of Shuo Nan coal mine. This model owns powerful visualization capabilities which can reduce the calculation and have the more accurate prediction. Finally, we use this model to predict the water inflow of Shuo Nan coal mine.
