Study On Problems And Countermeasures In The Development Of Chongqing Town

Chongqing has obvious urban-rural dual economic structure, which typically characteristics with large rural areas and large cities. Vigorously developing the town is the imperative choice to improve the level of urbanization in Chongqing and to solve the problems of urban and rural development. This paper aims to conduct a comprehensive analysis of the town of Chongqing urban gradient and find out the the Chongqing town and the problems faced. Chongqing’s town is the concentration of population and the region’s political, economic and cultural activity centers between countryel and Murai level. Its functions include connecting urban and rural ties, gathering capabilities of the elements and radiate urban and rural. And this paper analyze its Characteristic in terms of geographical location, demographic composition, industrial structure, spatial structure, mode of development and cultural traditions. And clarify that the development of town is good to transfer the rural surplus labor force, coordinate the development of the region, stimulate consumption and expand domestic demand, improve the overall quality of the farmers, and improve the ecological environment and protection.The third part is the development status of Chongqing town, which mainly start from the divided Chongqing city system, analyze the location of the town in which the city gradient and summarizes the size and distribution of the town in Chongqing, level of economic development and so on.
