Microwave oven as a modern cooking range entered China in the80’s of the last century. With the advantages of time saving, convenient and sanitary, etc, the microwave oven enters into more and more families. However, with the continuous increase in productivity, rapid changes in consumer demand, production enterprises of microwave oven in the increasingly fierce competition, product life cycles have been shortened, and the cycle of new product development project have been compressed. Thereby the risk of project development has increase. The development of new products as a kind of innovative activities has been an important factor of the success of enterprise. It’s the key index of the core competitiveness of enterprises. Studying on risk management of microwave oven of new product development project, aiming to improve the enterprise’s market competitiveness, and to speed up the upgrading of China’s microwave oven industry new product development capability and overall competitiveness, is very important.This paper mainly discusses microwave research and development of new products from the perspective of the project. With the relevant risk management theories of project management as guidance, the progress and quality as the main measure, based on the risk characteristics of the microwave oven in new product development, using the method of combining the theoretical and empirical analysis, we analysis and study of the risk management problem of microwave frequency steamed cubic G series of new products research and development projects in various stages of M company. In the risk identification stage, we mainly used brainstorming and check list method to identify risk factors of each stage. In the risk assessment stage, we mainly apply subjective scoring method, AHP and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method to analysis of the overall risk level. At the same time, the project risk response and risk monitoring are also discussed and discussion. This paper tries to be as much as possible risks in its embryonic stage, before they happen to give recognition, analysis. From developing coping strategies, effective control, we try to minimize the probability of risk or bring the risk losses to a minimum.
