Nowadays there is some development in mobile information services, but existing mobile services are still confined to the static field and it can’t respond to users’ needs at any time. Therefore existing services are still difficult to meet the needs of the user. With the pervasive computing technology’s maturity, more and more products of context-aware services are launched. Context-aware services can provide dynamic real-time information services according to the actual needs of the user. Context-aware services has become a hot research topic. In this paper, we from the perspective of innovation diffusion theory analyze the factors which are affecting the innovation diffusion progress of context-aware service. In this paper, we have summarized the studies of the diffusion of innovation theory. And combined with the characteristics of the context-aware services, we have proposed11impact factors of context-aware services diffusion from angle of constitution of context-aware service diffusion system. In this paper, based on11extracted impact factors, author built the impact factor model of context-aware services diffusion and proposed corresponding assumptions. In empirical research, author use questionnaire survey and structural equation modeling method to verify the model and hypothetical proposition, and measure the influence coefficients of impact factors of the context-aware services diffusion. Finally, author based on the empirical analysis of impact factors proposes some marketing suggestions that can help context-aware services providers to enhance their competitiveness.
