Into the21st century, with the further deepening of China’s reform and opening up, as wellas the impact of the international financial crisis, the domestic financial environment isincreasingly complex and volatile, small and medium-sized commercial bank crisis occurredfrequently, recognize the crisis and by reasonable crisis management to resolve the crisis andcrisis prevention are the problems that small and medium-sized commercial bank in China mustface. Through many banking crises, the managers of small and medium sized commercial banksin China have with preliminary knowledge and understanding of the importance of the crisis andthe crisis management, but by their own knowledge structure factors, they have the widespreadmisunderstanding awareness of crisis and crisis management, the level of crisis management isgenerally low, the crisis management capacity is generally weak. I try to find the problems ofsmall and medium sized commercial banks in the crisis management system, and proposeconcrete solutions to radically improve the level of the banks’ crisis management.The paper is divided into four parts.The first part of this paper describes the research background and significance, and the trendof crisis management at home and abroad.The second part of this paper is crisis management theory Summary. Listed characteristics of the banking crisis management, Described thetheoretical basis of bank crisis management research.The third part of this paper is the analysis of the current situation and existing problems ofthe small and medium-sized commercial bank in China in crisis management, Pointed out thatthe main problem of existing small and medium-sized commercial bank in China focus on thelack of awareness of crisis management, no perfect system of crisis management, the lack ofeffective media relations management measures and the lack of understanding of the post crisisrecovery work.Finally, use the Qilu Bank Liaocheng Branch as the example, studied the Measures resultsachieved and the problems in crisis management.The fourth part of the paper thesis put forward the countermeasures of small andmedium-sized commercial banks in China’s crisis Management. To the problems cited in thethird part, given the countermeasures one by one.
