Study Of Urban-rural Development Gap In Gansu

Since the Chinese communist party brought forward the grand goal ofbuilding a harmonious society in the fourth plenary session of16th, itmeans the future development strategy started from in-coordination tocoordination in rural-urban, economy-society, eastern region-westernregion. And means the integration of urban-rural dual economy will be animportant policy’s trend in the future. But the Chinese realistic objectiveis very complicated, especially, between the gap of urban-ruraldevelopment and the goals of harmonious society. Gansu province islocated in the underdeveloped region of the western of China. The gap ofurban-rural development is prominent particularly. However, theacademic research of this issue is still not enough systematic andscientific. Therefore, This paper bases on the researched fruits to analyzethe unban-rural development gap, with economics theory and nationalaccounts principle. The study route is to base on the national accountsframework. The method is by establishing a general index system ofurban-rural development. The aim is to explore the cases of urban-ruraldevelopment gap.First of all, This paper reviews the domestic and oversea’sresearched fruits of urban-rural development gap and brings forwardevaluating means of urban-rural development gap. Measuring andanalyzing the gap of production/income/consumption/social welfare. This paper uses expert mark to make sure the power of every index andevaluates the urban-rural development gap, and analyzes the causation byestablishing VAR model, on the base of cutting field. Finally, we putforward reducing gap’s countermeasures.
