China hotel industry entered golden times since1990s, the total of hotel industry increased by100000rooms per year. In new century, hotel industry developed more quickly in the goodpolitical, economical and international situation. But hotel industry in China developed inextensive way. The occupancy in star-rated hotel is low and the competition is very fierce innowadays. Therefore, only if one hotel could provide high quality service, can the hotel besuccessful among the competitors. In modern times, more and more hotels realized a high qualitystaff team can make sure high quality service. In order to attract and keep high quality staff, moreand more hotel manager turn to internal marketing. Internal marketing is a managementphilosophy started in1870s, its aim is to attract, develop, encourage and keep high quality staff.Career planning as part of human resource can make personal development and hoteldevelopment together, and make a win-win situation between staff and hotel.This paper was written after reading a lot of literature and materials about internal marketingand career planning in chain hotel. Meanwhile, after survey and analysis of the results, theresearcher took out several suggestions for chain hotel group in China.
