On The Ecological Responsibility Problems In The Development Of Enterprises In China

The enterprises in China are indispensable part of the national economy and play animportant role which cannot be ignored in the economy. Global economic crisis triggered by U. S.sub-prime financial crisis has already exposed the defects and shortcomings of enterprises guidedby the traditional economic model since2008. According to the2007World Bank report, due tothe rapid development of enterprises under the traditional economic model, the economic losses ofpollution in our country has reached5.8%of GDP. Every year the finanical loss brought byenvironmental pollution can reach283billion yuan,including water pollution, exhaust pollution,natural disasters caused by the ecological environment destruction, solid waste emission, noisepollution and so on. Experts say that although there are numberous reasons for the economic losscaused by environmental pollution, the lack of enterprises’ ecological responsibility is a mainreason. Faced with this serious situation, it is necessary to research into the ecological ethicsresponsibility issue of the enterprises in China.Enterprise’ ecological responsibility is also known as enterprise environmentalresponsibility,enterprise environmental protection responsibility and the enterprise greenresponsibility in the academic fields at home and abroad which refers to a kind of responsibility thatenterprises in the business process not only seriously consider the influence of the ecologicalenvironment, but also deal with the relevant matters of the natural environment with a responsibleattitude in order to reduce the environmental damage to the minimum.This thesis regards enterprise’s ecological responsibility problem as the research object andsearch for rational ways to urge enterprise to undertake their own ecological responsibility fromdifferent aspects. This paper consists of four parts. The first part mainly includes the purpose oftopics, domestic and international research reviews and research methods. The second partexpounded the concept and features of enterprise’s ecological responsibility and demonstrated theimportance of the enterprise ecological responsibility, aiming at establishing the theoretical foundation for the full text. The third part mainly analyzed the present situation of capitalinvestment, legal aspects, and ecological responsibility of the enterprise itself, and find the reasonsfrom the local government, economic law, environmental resources, social supervision andenterprise itself, etc. The guidance was provided in the fourth part. Respectively from threedirections—the government level, enterprise level and social level, it tried to provide the enterprisesinstructional principles to fulfill the ecological responsibility.
