In the past30years since “Reform and Opening”, Chinese economic has developed rapidly. Atpresent, Chinese economic has maintained a sound and rapid development. The role played bySmall and Medium-sized Enterprises is immeasurable.99%of Chinese enterprises are SMEs, whichis the engine of economic growth and increase employment cistern, is the most innovative dynamic"economic cell” in Chinese market economy. But, According to the survey, the average lifeexpectancy of SMEs in China is only2.5years. There are many reasons for SMEs short lived. Thebuilding of enterprise culture is not in place,which is one of the very important reasons. Invisiblecorporate culture is like the coagulant, which produces very powerful invisible forces.Firstly this article defines the concept of the SMEs,corporate culture,corporate cultureconstruction and so on. After In-depth understanding of relevant concepts, this article analyzes thecultural construction status and problems of SMEs. The causes of SMEs cultural construction of theproblem include internal reasons and external reasons, but mainly internal reasons. This articlegives solutions for problems and looks for a way for the SMEs chultural construction of outstandingscientific.SMEs cultural construction should be to proceed from four aspects of the construction ofmaterial culture, behavior,culture building, institutional culture and spiritual culture construction. Inthis process, the SMEs shoud absorb the Chinese traditional culture and learn from successfulenterprises cultural quality abroad.Finally, the SMEs shoud eclectic to build outstanding scientificand SME culture.
