Research On Inventory Optimization Of RESL(Shenzhen)Co., Ltd.

Inventory management play a key role in the business activities of enterprises. Fluctuating and changeful market environment puts forward higher level requirement on inventory management, the competition between enterprises is not only limited in their price, quality and customer service level, but also their supply-chain response time.Win-win concept is getting more and more enterprise approval. From the point of view of the supply chain and probe into inventory management methods and technology, so as to get lower inventory costs, faster response speed and higher level of customer service is one of the goal for modern enterprise now. The "bullwhip effect" widespread distorts the customer real demand information, based on these information, intensifies the invalid inventory accumulation and increase the inventory cost.In this paper, inventory management optimization are studied. From the view of supply chain management, analysis the limitation of the traditional inventory management methods in modern enterprise management, and put forward the differentiation procurement strategy and inventory strategy to solve this problem. For modern inventory management, reducing the stock cost and to ensure OTD(on-time delivery) should be equilibrium.For the above purpose, VMI is introduced as a new inventory strategy and explained how to practise in Rosslare company. and further demonstrates the enterprise inventory cost is decreased after the implementation of VMI, prove VMI inventory management technology can effectively reduce the enterprise inventory cost and improve the performance of inventory turnover.Based on Microsoft Excel, simulation stock strategy so as to choose the reasonable order quantity and re-order point. This method has high maneuverability and has more practical significance in enterprise.Finaly, in order to improve the operation efficiency of the enterprise, after review the current work flow of RESL company, BPR(business process reorganization) is introduced, a good way to improve work efficiency and to solve the information transfer untimely, while further reduce the "bullwhip effect" influence.
