Under The Background Of Villages Hollowing The Left-behind Women As The Main Body Of Farmers’ Cooperative Development Research

Rural labor to urban areas, will be an irreversible trend in China’s long period of time. Large number of young men in the village migrant workers, make the left-behind women become the majority of the rural population in fact, and also become the main body of engaged in agricultural production activities.Thus the village hollow and the feminization of agriculture will also be a Chinese peasant family business and the development of farmers’ cooperatives must face the reality situation. Research the left-behind women as the main body of farmers’ cooperative development under the background of villages hollowing has important theoretical and practical value in promoting the development of the new transformation of cooperatives and the left-behind women and new rural construction.This article firstly from the left-behind women facing the plight of the individual engaged in agricultural production, combined with survey data for the northwestern provinces of Gansu, Qinghai, Ningxia, research the various difficulties in agricultural production the left-behind women are facing. Secondly, use the gender theory to study the behavioral characteristics of rural women, the willingness to cooperate and the ability to cooperate; use of the women social capital theory and human capital theory, study the social support network of left-behind women and improvement of human capital, summed up the possibility of left-behind women founded or participating in cooperative.Finally, combining the above two parts research conclusion, implement some strategy policy recommendations to propose the left-behind women as the main body of farmers’ cooperatives to achieve the transformation of cooperatives, and enhance human capital and new rural construction win.Studies have found that the left-behind women under the background of villages hollowing are generally faced with various difficulties in agricultural production, for example labor shortages, the weak manufacturing operations, the loneliness and security problems in he agricultural production and many other issues; farmers’ cooperatives as a kind of mutual assistance and cooperation the rise of the economic cooperation organization, precisely provides a possibility to solve the plight of left-behind women. The authors believe that, should first through left-behind women as the main founder and the development of farmers’ cooperatives, and the establishment of the left-behind women farmers cooperatives special fund, the left-behind women’s cooperatives and NPO project construction collaboration to promote three measures real women left behind as to promote the development of cooperatives focus subject. By the mutual promotion between the development of cooperatives and the development of the left-behind women and the new rural construction to achieve a win-win situation for the three at the same time.
