Shandong foreign direct investment is an important part of China’s foreign direct investment.Along with the implementation of the "going out" strategy, the pace of Shandong enterprises in foreign direct investment also will increase The research of economic effects of foreign direct investment in Shandong Province will have important practical significance.On the basis of a comprehensive overview of international direct investment, this paper discusses the basic profiles and characteristics of the current foreign direct investment in Shandong Province from the development stage, the scale of investment, industry distribution, geographical distribution, investment entities into the way.The conclusion is that Shandong Province has the basic conditions in the expansion of foreign direct investment. This paper analyzes the relationship between Shandong foreign direct investment and economic growth, technological progress,and employment by cointegration analysis method.Founding that there are long-term stable equilibrium relationship between foreign direct investment and economic growth, technological progress and employment.And the paper analyzes the causal relationship among them by Granger causality test.
