With the arrival of the knowledge economy, business management has come to a stagewhere talents are viewed as business capital and the core resources of the businesscontinuity of a company.Companies start paying more attention to scientific and sustainable development.During this process, core talents, those who make decisions on company developmentstrategies and influence the direction of a company, such as the CEO and general managerof a company, become increasingly important. They always take the responsibility ofbusiness operation of the whole company or management of a specific business area. AsWang Shi said,―Talents are the capital and core competency of Vanke.‖Under theguidance of this kind of management concept, Vanke has built an excellent team of talents,thus achieving the rapid expansion and development, and holding the dominant position inthe domestic real estate industry.From the positioning and functions of the core talents shown above, we can clearlysee the key role played by them. So the quality and quantity of core talents directly affectthe development of a company, and the development of core talents is the top priority ofhuman resources management. As the key ability of the core talents, leadership plays acritical role in the business operation and the accomplishment of the strategic target.S corporation has been a leading global technology provider since1907. Itsfundamental strength is the ability to continuously develop new technologies–then usethem to create products that offer competitive advantages to our customers.This paper starts with introduction to S corporation and then the analysis of thedifficulty which S faces. The analysis shows that S corporation lacks of a strategy for coretalents based on the cultivation and development of leadership. Then there is a research ofthe status of the leadership of core talents in S corporation, with questionnaires andinterviews. The research also finds out the insufficient of the leadership in S corporation.Moreover, S corporation needs a scheme with hierarchy and lacks of sufficient successorsof talents. Through this research, the author establishes a core talents strategy based on thecultivation and development of leadership for S corporation as well as the implementationplan which includes clear implementation goals, analysis of difficulties and methods ofevaluation.
