The Research On British Culture Industry Cluster Innovation System And Its Inspiration For China

Cultural strength and competitiveness is an important symbol of the prosperity of thecountry and national rejuvenation. Economic and culture have been blended in today’ssociety, under this condition, the cultural industry is showing a strong momentum ofdevelopment as the green sunrise industry, and plays an increasingly important role in thecompetition of comprehensive national strength. Along with the booming trend of culturalindustry, it has showed two features: industrial clusters and industrial innovation. Culturalindustry cluster innovation has not only become the research focus of international culturalindustries, but also become a strategy which countries use to enhance the culturalindustry’s core competitiveness. However, due to the overall development of China’scultural industry started relatively late, development of the cultural industry cluster still inits early stage, innovation is not obvious, and compared with other fields, less domesticand foreign scholars study on the cultural industry cluster innovation mechanism, therefore,this study has a very important theoretical and practical significance.This article is divided into five chapters. the first chapter is an introduction. First,introduce the background and significance of the study, then reviewed the researchliterature at home and abroad on the cultural industry cluster innovation, mainly from threeaspects: cultural industries, industrial clusters, cluster innovation mechanism. Thesummary provides a good study material and theoretical basis for later analysis andresearch. Finally, give the research ideas, research methods, innovation and difficulty.The second chapter is about defining of industrial clusters and industrial innovation.The first part is about the definition of the industrial clusters and industrial cluster, Whichgive the Summary: cluster connotation theory literature mainly have six methods and threelevels. The second part is the analysis of the definition of industrial innovation, based onSchumpeter’s innovation theory. The third part is an overview of the innovative features of the Chinese and British culture industry cluster, which initially identified the theoreticalmodel selection criteria.The third chapter is the research of British industrial clusters innovation mechanism.This part is divided into two parts. The first part focuses on the new economic geographytheory, according to this theory, summed up the conduction path-Knowledge Innovationspillover transmission mechanism. The second part is the empirical study of Britishindustrial clusters innovation mechanism based on the KC model.The fourth chapter is about problems in the development of China’s cultural industry.Divided into three parts, the first part is the analysis of the status of China’s culturalindustry competitiveness. The second part, mainly introduces Porter’s industrial clustertheory, with emphasis on the exposition of the Diamond model, which will mainly used toanalye the development of China’s cultural industry. The second part is the empiricalresearch about driving force of development of China’s cultural industry to find the maindriving forces and the main "short board".Chapter five summarizes the foregoing theoretical and empirical analysis, then usingthe comparative analysis and case studies, summed implications of the British InnovationClusters Mechanism for China, and make policy recommendations.
