Replace Enterprise Group By The Enterprise Cluster

Since the reform and opening up of our country, the Yangtze River Delta city groups’ competition strength unceasingly strengthens. The social economic structure and market efficiency has improved significantly. The Yangtze River Delta city group has achieved" the development trend of goose fly together" in the fierce competition in the international market system. Because of the sweetness taste of regional economic growth by the enterprise cluster, Yangtze River Delta began to make great efforts to build the enterprise cluster. These firms are small, but the number is numerous and form the enterprise clusters. Yangtze River Delta do not have large scale enterprise group, so we can see the phenomenon of small and medium-sized enterprises cluster substitute enterprise group. Based on the above consideration, this paper summarized the theory of enterprise clusters and enterprise groups, and discussed the development of enterprises from two aspects of theory and practice. Because of the large number of enterprises clusters in the Yangtze River Delta which involved many industries, this paper selects15key sectors of manufacturing industries as research objects in order to study the substitution from enterprise cluster to the enterprise group and to make the study more meaningful.This paper implant enterprise agglomeration to theory systems such as Weber’s Industrial Location theory and Product Differentiation based on the Agglomeration Benefits, We construct a model of the optimal scale, enterprise group range and enterprise cluster agglomeration number. We select15manufacturing industries as the research object, using the index of Absolute Concentration and Size Difference Coefficient as classification standard to study the agglomeration effect of the Yangtze River Delta region industry. In addition to studying the agglomeration effect at different profession, we select the cost index of16core cities in Yangtze River Delta to illustrate the agglomeration effect in different regions.Research results show that different manufacturing should choose different forms of business organization and development paths. Black metal smelting and processing industry, transportation equipment manufacturing, electrical machinery and equipment manufacturing industry, whose absolute concentration is high and the difference in scale coefficient is big, should follow the development mode of enterprise group; such as the medicine manufacturing industry, making non-ferrous metal smelting and rolling industry, metal products industry and the special equipment industry whose concentration degree is low and the scale difference coefficient is small,clusters should go. However, by studying the agglomeration effect of different manufacturing industry, we found that the pharmaceutical industry showed no agglomeration effect in the Yangtze River Delta region which should have followed the development mode of enterprise cluster. It is difficult to say the enterprises obtained the agglomeration benefits, they just formed together in the geographical sense. Therefore, it is difficult to have a long-term survival in the market competition if this kind of enterprise cannot change the thought of development, the2008financial crisis has fully exposed that the small and medium-sized enterprise clusters in Yangtze River Delta are lack of the ability to resist risks. The large number of small enterprises can gradually change the mode of development from relying on the low labor cost and land cost to building the brand concentration.they can join together to overcome the defects of enterprises clusters and form the new concepts of enterprise group.
