Theoretical And Empirical Research On The Promotion Of Education To Economic Growth

As the main way of human capital accumulation, education plays an important role in economic growth, measuring the return to education may have a positive effect on economic growth to a certain extent. The empirical analysis shows that returns to education of Tianjin is21.88%, education and training increase the net GDP of26.204billion yuan through improving the quality of workers; stimulating industrial value of education is119.163billion yuan, school industrial value of education is3.461billion yuan, education stimulative industrial value and school industrial value accounted for16.30%of the annual gross domestic product (GDP) as the education sectors of the economy; the essay concludes that the contribution rate of education to economic growth is38.18%, that is, the increasing margin80.284billion yuan of the gross domestic product (GDP) growth can not be reached lack of the development of education, and it will reduce30.652billion yuan.Finally, the essay concludes that education should play a fundamental role of education in economic development to close the relationship of education and economics, develop the education industry and develop the private education and vocational education to establish a system of lifelong education, promoting coordination of education and economic.
