Study On The Choice Of Organization Mode About Lemon Industry Chain In Anyue County,Sichuan Province

As an emerging organization integrated agriculture, industry and business, the organization of agricultural industry chain can strengthen the connection among farmers, enterprises and markets, it has been well applied with significant effects in some developed countries such as Netherlands, America as well as some developing countries like Argentina, Brazil and South Africa. Farmers are in the starting point of the industry chain; the industry chain organization mode they choose will have direct influence on its management efficiency. The strong or weak of the core enterprise competitiveness in the industry chain matters the level of the whole agricultural industry competitiveness, while the industry organization mode taken by those core enterprises has direct links with enterprise competitiveness level. Seen from the existing research, there is seldom research about agricultural industry chain management with Lemon industry development, especially those researches about Lemon industry chain organization modes based on the microcosmic perspective such as farmers and enterprises.Taken Lemon farmers and processing enterprises in Anyue County as the main research objects, this paper puts forward specific and useful policy suggestions after analysis in order to increase the industry chain participation level between Lemon farmers and processing enterprises and make related bodies in the industry chain form stable benefit connections, then improves the management level of the whole Lemon industry chain and facilitates Lemon industry’s better and faster development.This paper analyses qualitatively current situation of Lemon industry chain organization mode, makes out the connection modes and its degrees of Anyue Lemon farmers and Downstreams, Lemon processing enterprises and its upstreams and downstreams, as well as influencing factors of choosing processing enterprise organization modes. It analyses influencing factors of Lemon farmers’willingness to choose industry chain organization modes by using Logistic regression analysis, and choosing Sichuan Huatong Lemon Limited Company as a case, it helps choose the best industry chain organization mode for that company by using analytic hierarchy process (AHP) analysis.The study shows that the industry chain participation between current Lemon farmers and processing enterprises with loose connections among related behavioral subjects, Lemon farmers’willingness to choose organization modes influenced by farmers’individual basic characteristics, production and management characteristics, transaction cost characteristics etc., processing enterprises’choice influenced by suppliers’credit status and the degree of production equipments specialty of enterprises. The final result of case study shows that cooperation organization in the upstream industry chain is the best option for Sichuan Huatong Lemon Limited Company while enterprise integration organization mode in the downstreams is the first choice. Based on the analysis, some policy suggestions are put forward:increasing the rural education investment and improving Lemon farmers’education level, strengthening the market body status of Lemon farmers, enhancing policy propaganda in order to change Lemon farmers’ traditional concepts and make them choose close organization mode, and strengthening policy support in order to supply better external environment for stakeholders in Lemon industry chain.
