The Approach To Promote Agriculture Leading Enterprise Competitiveness

Agriculture, the basis of human life, is essential for the economicdevelopment of a country. A good agricultural development is t he basis of thelong time stability and independence for one country. In China, thedevelopment of agriculture is especially important, because most people livein country and village. However, the relatively slow growth of China’sagriculture in recent years has become the weakness of the national economydevelopment, which will be holding back further progress of otherdevelopment. The first document ‘several comments of the State Council ofCentral Committee of Communist Party of China about Enhancing th eprogress of the overall urban and rural development and Further RammingFoundation of Agricultural and Rural Development’ in2010indicated thatleading agricultural enterprises can promote the development of the wholeagricultural industry. Most advanced products in market are from leadingenterprises, demonstrating that it is important to develop leading enterprisesfor the agricultural growth.The dissertation is organized as follow:1. Chapter1is the introduction. It declares the background, propos e andmeaning of this dissertation, reviews corresponding research works ofdomestic and international, and clarifies main content and research methodsof the whole research. 2. Chapter2introduces theoretic aspect of concept of leading enterprises inagriculture. The characters and effect of agricultural leading enterprises isdescribed, and related evaluation methods of their competitiveness areexplained.3. Chapter3presents influential factors of agricultural leading enterprises.Detailed analysis is done with respect to inside and outside of the enterprisesseparately, which shows the reasons of being and affecting leading enterprisesin agriculture.4. Chapter4takes research on developing situation and current problems ofagricultural leading enterprises in our country. Similarly, related detailedanalysis is done with respect to inside and outside of enterprises separately,by which the negative factors that influencing their development are shown.5. Chapter5takes research on countermeasures. B y considering theinfluencing factors and unfavorable domestic/international environment thatrelate to development of our agricultural leading enterprises, we propose somecorresponding countermeasures to improve competitiveness of theseenterprises.6. Chapter6is the conclusion and prospect.
