Research On Standardization Feeding In Yan Men-guan Ecological And Animal Husbandry Economic Zone

In recent years, with the improvement of people’s living standard, not only the demandto animal produce more and more, but for the livestock product quality and safetyrequirements are also getting higher and higher, The traditional livestock feeding mode onecological vegetation destruction is larger and it is difficult to ensure animal product qualityand safety，difficult to monitor the production process. At the same time, the traditionalscatter feeding technology is relatively backward, raise cost greatly, its dealing with marketrisk ability is weak, and does not have competitive advantage. In this case, The Ministry ofagriculture and animal husbandry development encourage standardization breed aquatics.Each district also began to change the traditional mode of animal husbandry, from the casualbar feeding gradually transforms into the standardized breeding.Animal husbandry in Yan Men-guan Ecological and Animal Husbandry Economic Zonewas selected as the study object in this paper, the concept of agricultural standards and thebasic theories of agricultural standardization were expounding as the foundation of this study.With field surveys, case studies and empirical analysis, current situation of standardizedbreeding development, effect of the implementation of standardized breeding and existingproblems in Shanxi Yan Men-guan ecological and animal husbandry economic zone werethorough discussed. Results showed that farmers’ feeding experience and their educationallevel, standardization farming benefits and its risks were remarkably influence the decision ofcarrying out the standardized breeding or not. Meanwhile, the standardization feeding needmore capital investment, higher level of feeding and inspection techniques, greater land areathan traditional backyard feeding, therefore, the price of livestock product from standardizedfarming and its market share affect the standardization of culture. This paper proposes thegeneral idea, principles, key areas, and regional distribution for improving standardization ofculture in Yan Men-guan Ecological and Animal Husbandry Economic Zone focusing on theactual situation in this zone, and on this basis, suggestions were raised to promote thedevelopment of standardized feeding in Yan Men-guan ecological and Animal Husbandry economic Zone including five aspects, which were the theory study of agriculturalstandardization, improving the government functions, establishing and improving thestandardization feeding system, the development of standardized livestock cooperatives,improving the agricultural extension service system, and strengthening the leading enterprises.These suggestions also provide a reasonable and viable reference frame for theimplementation of standardized feeding.
