China is a country with an ancient civilization. The Great Wall and the Grant Canal are famous to the world and cited in as brilliant examples of huge engineering in ancient time that used simple idea of Industrial Engineering (IE). However, the technical term Industrial Engineering was rarely known to engineers/managers and IE courses were seldom given in higher education in China until late70’s. During the past decade, IE has been gradually introduced into this country and attached more and more attention to.China’s economy is now at the stage of transferring to marketing economy system. Marketing competition has become a critical issue of all enterprises for surviving and developing. Hence managers and enterprises must pay great attention to productivity and economical benefits. They began to appeal consciously to effective techniques for aids. Based on the application benefits gained, IE techniques are generally recognized and accepted as the powerful means for barring various wastes and raising productivity and efficiency effectively.As important technical means of Industry Engineering, Motion study, Factory layout and Human Factor Engineering are the important methods to Increase productivity and optimizing production system for modernized enterprise. This paper apply the classical industry Engineering and is aim at optimizing the company’s production. The main idea of the paper is optimizing productivity and workshop’s layout, and make rational improvement.
