The Analysis Of Agglomeration Mechanism Of The Equipment Manufacturing Industry In Liaoning Province

Equipment manufacturing industry has an important position and role in the nationaleconomy, which is the underpinning industry of the industrial economic development. Liaoningprovince is the research and production base of the national equipment products and equipmentmanufacturing industry’s key development areas make a great contribution to country’seconomic development, national defense construction and social progress. The issue has beenclosely watched, how to promote the development faster and better of Liaoning provinceequipment manufacturing industry.The article collects a large number of relevant information, basing on the related theories ofindustry agglomeration and equipment manufacturing, jointed with the present situation inLiaoning province, using the2001-2009economic data, calculates the location quotient of theequipment manufacturing industry in Liaoning province. In addition, the article empirical sectionusing the data envelopment analysis method analyses the industry gathering efficiency withhigher levels of industry in Liaoning province. And the article did a concrete, comprehensivesummary about the cluster status of equipment manufacturing industry in Liaoning province,cluster supports, and cluster of problems existing in industry agglomeration; Find out theidentifying factors that influence the equipment manufacturing industry agglomeration from theperspective of industry and location. Further, the article built a system dynamics models in thepositive part, undertaken a study on agglomeration mechanism of equipment manufactureindustry in Liaoning province, the results showed that: enterprise profits, investment ininfrastructure, investment in technology, the number of University and research institutes are themain factors influencing on the agglomeration of equipment manufacturing industry in Liaoningprovince; Finally, the article proposed the corresponding policy and recommendations, whichcombining the development status of equipment manufacturing industry in Liaoning provinceand its agglomeration mechanisms analysis results. They were proposed from the angle of themain factors of agglomeration of equipment manufacturing industry in Liaoning province.
