A Research On Individual Knowledge Management Based On Witkey Mode

With the popularization and development of the Internet, using the network has become a better way for users to express their views and access to information. But the long-term free knowledge sharing in the network environment has begun to reveal the incompatibility with economic laws. Within the context of the technological development and social needs, Internet begin to enter the era of knowledge value, and the concept of knowledge with commercial value via the Internet will be gradually accepted by people. The premium knowledge sharing advocated by Witkey mode is just reflection of the concept of knowledge value in practice. Formally, Witkey Mode is a kind of knowledge trading pattern by online methods, and essentially, Witkey mode is the unity of knowledge’s production process and transaction process. Knowledge sharing of Witkey mode is different from the organizational one. The former does not have the distinct levels of the organization structure, and it shapes the equal and open environment, which is conducive to individual knowledge dissemination and sharing.On the other hand, the explosive growth of knowledge in the Internet age makes people more deeply recognize that when knowledge shared between individuals can maximize its creativity and productivity. Although many studies hold a positive attitude on personal knowledge and its role, researches on individual knowledge sharing have few achievements. We need to escape out the view from the framework of organization, and study the knowledge sharing between individuals in a more open environment.Based on this, making Witkey network as the research object, this paper discovered patterns and mechanisms suitable for knowledge sharing between individuals. The paper introduced the background and basic concepts of Witkey mode, as well as relative theories of knowledge sharing. This paper analyzed the characteristics and influencing factors of knowledge sharing in the network environment, and the significance of Witkey mode promoting the individual knowledge sharing in a network environment, in order to establishing a basis for individual knowledge sharing mode oriented to Witkey network. Then, the paper described the elements of knowledge sharing from three aspects of the subject, object and the external environment, and analyzed the process of knowledge sharing from two levels. In the last part, this paper build the framework of individual knowledge sharing mechanism on the three perspectives from the of platform culture, sharing technology and incentives, to seek to promote individual knowledge sharing in the Witkey cilture.
