Mobile Agent is a self-running calculation entity, which can be sustained work in a distributed environment. The characteristic of mobile Agent is that it can carry its own code and attributes state in order to search for logical data and information resources to achieve the arranged tasks. In the article, fully taking the feature of mobile Agent, we apply it to E-commerce system, which greatly deal with the problem that based on traditional Browse/Server model system that need to be operated by online、interactive information and high network bandwidth.Based on the deep research of the mobile Agent technology, this article adopts mobile Agent technology to design Distributed E-commerce System Model. Dependent on the feature of autonomy and mobility in the Agent, we successfully finish couples of concurrent execution of search tasks that conducted on multiple servers and bring about parallel computing and calculation. At the same time, counting on the feature of coordination reaction and intelligence in the Agent, we introduce the consultation mechanism to design a real-time auction system model that based on the mobile Agent intelligence, we also achieve the prototype of the model.First of all, this article analyzes the defects of the existing E-commerce and deliberately probes the feasibility that put the mobile Agent into the E-commerce model. Second, we systematically elaborate on mobile Agent technology. Compared with other distributed computing technology, we research the support of Java to mobile Agent technology. Last but not least, based on IBM’s Aglet platform, we design an electronic auction system model and deeply explore the important technology in the system.
