With China’s rapid economic growth and continuous efforts of the API companies, API industry in China got violent development in recent years. The central and local governments insist on strengthening the support and management of the pharmaceutical industry, adjusting and protecting the export. Under the chance of the world pharmaceutical market’s shift and with the advantage of low cost, China has become world’s largest API manufacturer and exporter since2011. And China’s API enterprises’statuses gradually consolidate in the world. However, global economic instability, national environmental protection, increasing labor costs and raw material costs enhance the operating burden of the API enterprises to a certain extent. Therefore, opportunities and threats coexist for Chinese pharmaceutical enterprises. Zhejiang A API company, which is in Zhejiang Province, is a small and medium-sized pharmaceutical raw materials export enterprises. After nearly a decade development, it has some technical support and funds support. But for the success in the future’s competition, it is necessary to set a set of scientific and effective export competition strategy.This thesis uses the theory of competitive advantage, core competitiveness theory, comparative analysis, SWOT matrix analysis, charts, analysis, secondary data analysis, PEST analysis and other means; it firstly summarizes and outlooks the domestic API market, and then make analysis for Zhejiang A Company. The thesis first analyzes the company’s external environment through PEST analysis method and then through the SWOT analysis, analyzes the company’s advantages and disadvantages. Through the analysis, it finds the external threats and opportunities, develops the company’s future development direction. In the end, according to the specific situation of Zhejiang A Company, the thesis raises up the exports competitive strategy. The strategy includes product strategy, pricing strategy, information strategy, marketing strategy,This thesis hopes it can give some substantive recommendations to Zhejiang A Company through the study, on the one hand, hope taking Zhejiang Company A as an example to give some good suggestion to local enterprises and assist them developing better and more rapidly.
