| Performance appraisal, which can generally be divided into three levels of employees, departments and corporates, is an objective evaluation process for work behavior, attitudes, performance and effectiveness of in a certain period. Also, performance appraisal is the core content of performance management, and closely related to the corporate strategic objectives. With the development of market economy, more and more corporates have recognized the importantance of performance appraisal, and begun to make some related principles. As an equipment operation, maintenance, and power grid construction management unit for500kV power network in south Hebei, Hebei Extra High Voltage(EHV) Company has brought performance appraisal to practice and drawn up some assessment principles for employees and departments yearly or monthly. With the implement of those performance appraisal principals, Hebei EHV Company has got many achievements. However, in the context of State Grid to create "one strong and three excellent" modem company, the performance appraisal system in Hebei EHV Company still has some imperfect aspects to improve.Through careful analysis on current situation, this paper affirmed the position of Hebei EHV Company in "one strong and three excellent" modern company creating process, especially affirmed the promoting role of performance appraisal for State Grid outstanding performance. On this basis, we make an in-depth analysis on the current status and existing problems of performance appraisal principals in Hebei EHV Company, and propose some appropriate recommendations. Then, by useing the theories and methods of performance appraisal and project management, we bulid the performance appraisal project system for Hebei EHV company from staffs to enterprises. Finally, we will verify the effectiveness and suitability of the performance appraisal project system in EHV enterprises through practical application. |
