Along with the ever-increasing aging population in China, traditional familypension mode has not met the current needs for caring the aging people in China. Itturns out to be that there exist the large demands of nursing home care in China. Thispaper, through field investigation, literature investigation, questionnaire interview,statistical analysis and other research methods, analyses the problems of nursing homecare in Zhejiang province by doing the following researchs and puts forwardcountermeasures.Based on the investigation data collected on status quo of Zhejiang provincenursing home care supply and demand, this paper finds out the differences of nursinghome care between a city and a country and the regional differences of nursing homeand analyzes the causes of the differences; through questionnaires and combined withstatistical analysis, this paper aims to understand the unbalanced situation of Zhejiangprovince nursing home care’s supply and demand so as to find out the existing problemsmainly as follows: firstly, the shortage of nursing home staff; secondly, inappropriatenursing home management system; thirdly, the irrational nursing home resourceallocation and fourthly, the uni-nursing home type.Facing the unbalanced supply and demands, this paper, using the theory of socialsecurity, welfare pluralism theory, resource allocation theory and the theory of effectivedemand for in-depth analysis, puts forward countermeasure and suggest for the futuredevelopment of Zhejiang province nursing home care from the perspectives of staffrecruitment, training and compensations as follows: firstly, strengthening the stafftraining for nursing care team;secondly, transforming the existing public funded nursinghome management mode and expand the private nursing home channels so as topromote the reform of the management system of nursing home care; thirdly, rationallyallocating resources to maximize the nursing home resources and fourthly, focusing onthe development of nursing and care home accompanied by moderate development forresidential nursing home. All types of nursing home development should be subject todemands and supplies. |
