Study On The Present Situation Of Xingtai’s Logistics Industry Development And Strategy

With the rapid development of science and technology China’s socialist marketeconomic system continuously improved and the process of globalization of the worldeconomy developed rapidly. As an emerging industry the logistics industry has become animportant industry in our national economy and a new growth point. The concept oflogistics was introduced to our country for more than20years, but Chinese logisticsmodernization level is relatively low, and the progress is slow. Therefore, to promoteChinese modern logistics industry to develop, especially the development of the logisticsindustry in small and medium-sized cities is very significant.In the research process the paper insisted on integrating theory with practice. With theguide of regional economics and logistics systematic theory it used the methods ofstatistics, industrial economics, system dynamics etc. to have in-depth study of issuesrelated to logistics industry and took a theoretical study on the development of Xingtai’slogistics industry. First, based on Chinese national conditions, starting from the currentsituation of global logistics industry, it analyzed the strengths and weaknesses of thedevelopment of modern logistics industry. It raised the practical significance of Xingtai’slogistics industry. Second, starting from the practical development of modern logistics, itsystematically analyzed the theory of international modern logistics and some research onthe situations and trends of Chinese logistics industry. Third, it raised the significance ofbuilding the logistics system of the medium and small cities on the basis of the analysisabout the necessities of logistics industry, and worked out the development strategies.Fourth, the main problems of restricting Xingtai’s logistics industry were found and itworked out the characteristics of Xingtai’s logistics industry. It has done qualitativeanalysis and quantitative analysis on the development situation of Xingtai’s logistics andscientifically analyzed the basic evvironment and conditions of Xingtai’s logistics industrywith system dynamics. On this basis it built a structure model and concluded somestrategies and suggestions about the development of Xingtai’s logistics industry, such asspeeding up transformation of modern logistics, optimizing logistics inventorymanagement and accelerating the development of third-party logistics etc.
