Summary of innovation with the development of the financial markets and financial products, operating environment facing profound change of commercial banks in China, fully completed stock reform in State-owned commercial banks listing, further interest rate marketization, restructuring the banking sector is imperative, devoting major efforts to developing intermediary business to become an inevitable trend. Market segmentation of this important strategy focus more and more banks, underpin the development of intermediary business and focus, however, market segmentation of intermediate business of commercial banks in China there are many problems, especially compared to developed Western counterparts, there is a large gap, in China commercial bank’s intermediary business should actively build market segmentation strategy. This article is in such a context, research on market segmentation strategy of the intermediate business of commercial banks, starting from the basic theory of market segmentation and analysis of the problems in the marketing of the intermediate business of commercial banks in China, foreign commercial bank intermediate business market segmentation research, scientific and reasonable on the basis of intermediate business market segmentation and marketing strategies.
