With the rapid development of the hotel industry, especially in the scale of economy hotelgeometric forms in the multiply, the competition between the hotel expanded rapidly. The hotelindustry is facing fierce competition, and they can not continue to wait for customers in thetraditional way. Thus they are in urgent need of a group of outstanding hotel sales personnel todevelop potential clients and maintain good relations of cooperation partners.This paper firstly introduces the performance from some theoretical knowledge andanalyzes the characteristics of sales personnel. Then according to the actual situation of HomeInn, the performance index is divided into three categories: performance indicators, work abilityand work attitude. Through the job analysis form the sales staff job description, and combinedwith actual situation hotel to determine the performance indicators. Meanwhile, the index class2of the personnel working ability and the work attitude is getting by the questionnaire survey.Index weights is getting by Analytic hierarchy process and practical experience. Then workout the assessment standards, index score calculation and evaluation process. Finally, putforward some security measures in order to ensure the effective implementation of theassessment system.This paper has certain reference value to the related service industry and the performanceevaluation system design of same industry sales. Also, it has certain significance to theimplementation of performance evaluation system.
