The Research On The Strategy For The Government To Promote Sea-rail Transportation Development In Shenzhen Port

As an important part of logistics modernization, container transport is also a result of transportation modernizing. Particularly, the multimodal transportation of container is becoming the leading form of transportation in recent years, which makes the functions and effects of container transport develop and embody more deeply.Despite a history of decades, the multimodal transportation of container gets difficulties in many aspects. The multimodal transportation system is involved in a complicated operation that has both "hard" and "soft" problems. Therefore, in order to operate this system more effectively, a research in terms of system coordination is needed.Sea-rail transportation is the main form of multimodal transportation, which attracts more and more attention from the government. As the fourth largest container port in the world and the main channel of import and export in the Pearl River Delta area, Shenzhen Port has a great potential for Sea-rail transportation. This thesis focuses on how to formulate public policy for Shenzhen Port to develop Sea-rail transportation with a comprehensive analysis of its advantages and disadvantages.Firstly,this thesis presents both the definition of Sea-rail transportation and the development of the main ports at home and abroad, and then goes into their development experience and developing trend, and finally carries on the SWOT analysis to both the internal and the external environment for Sea-rail transportation in Shenzhen Port. Meanwhile, with The Internet of Things application, industrial transfer and current conditions taken into consideration, the analysis by synthesis method will be used to give reference for the government to promote Sea-rail transportation development in Shenzhen Port, facilitating the sustainable development of Shenzhen Port and expanding the application of The Internet of Things.
