Research On Anqing CSSC Diesel Enging Co.Ltd Supply Gain Management

The global shipbuilding pattern has featured as "three kingdoms" Japan, Korea, and China confronting each other for several decades. China has taken its "overlord" position in quantity in recent years, but failed and is unlikely, in a short period of time, to realize the transformation from "big shipbuilding country" to "strong shipbuilding country". This is also the case for the very majority of China shipbuilding companies, including Anqing CSSC Diesel Engine Co. Ltd. It is because history has proven that the competition between shipbuilding companies is ultimately the competition in supply chains, globally or domestically.This research is based on a brief summary of related theories such as supply chain management, customer relations management, Kano Model, etc. In regard to current conditions and existing problems in ACD supply chain management as well as problem analysis, the research analyzes comprehensively general environment, industry conditions and things inside the company and offers ideas and suggestions for improvement.The research contents of ideas and suggestions for improvement are mainly set in three aspects which affect the complete supply chain. They are supplier management (category, level management), operation management (internal supply chain management), and customer relations management. The research tries to summarize "three functional centers","one transformation","one phenomenon","one control method" and the application of "Kano Model". Among them,"three working centers" means the geometrical center, cost center and value center in the supply chain. One transformation means the transformation from productive management to managerial production. One phenomenon is referring to the phenomenon of "one year of love, three years of itchiness, five years of pain, seven years of hatred". One control method means "Stair Model control method" of the planned control. It is the author’s hope that by drawing lessons from related theories, this research shall innovatively generalize and design rules of the company’s supply chain management and improvement plans, methods, etc., so as to help China realize its dream of becoming "a strong shipbuilding country" with however small contributions this research can make.
