| For most of the coal mining enterprises, the DY system is the critical control system of high-end integrated coal mining machines that can ensure their high yield, high efficiency and security. However, the DY system products have been monopolized by several multinational corporations for years, which represented their development trends of the coal mining mechanization technology in the world.In2008, the DY system with intellectual property rights was developed by HF Factory that means it broke the international monopoly. But, on the impact of several factors like more competitors, higher production cost, higher salary cost and slower domestic economic growth, more and more developing problems about the DY system in HF Factory came out, which became a key factor to restrict its development. It is, therefore, an urgency and necessity to develop strategic studies in the current circumstance.This paper focused on the current status and tendency of the D Y system in coal mining machinery industry in China. For the current situation of the DY system produced by HF Factory, an empirical research was conducted on the factory s internal and external circumstances, its industry structure and its competitive situation, by means of PEST, Five Force Model, CPM, EFE, IFE and some comprehensive analysis methods like SWOT, IE and QSPM. The findings showed that fiercer competition in DY industries, descending performance in those industries and lack of competiveness. There are mainly three reasons, which are more competitors, unstandard industrial practices, and the system mechanism and management mode of HF Factory that can not adapt to the development of the market demand.In order to change the current competitive circumstance, a more flexible system mechanism and management mode is required to adapt to market. In this way, HF Factory has to develop some specific growth-oriented development strategic that suit us. By those strategies, we can improve the economic efficiency and advance market competition capability to realize the health and sustainable development of our factory. |
